1. Acceptance of Terms

By inviting the Kit Discord bot ("Kit", "the bot", "we", "us", or "our") to a Discord server or by using any of its features, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must stop using Kit and, where applicable, remove the bot from your server.

Your use of Kit is also subject to Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

2. Description of Service

Kit is a wholesome, non-NSFW Discord roleplay and reaction bot designed for lighthearted interactions between users.

Kit provides features including roleplay and reaction commands, GIF-based responses, interaction counters, user-installed commands, and server-specific configuration options.

Kit is not intended to provide or facilitate NSFW content.

3. User and Server Administrator Responsibilities

Users are responsible for using Kit appropriately and in accordance with these Terms and Discord’s policies.

Server owners and administrators are responsible for configuring Kit appropriately within their servers, including determining which commands are available and where they may be used.

Administrators may use Kit’s command controls to enable or disable supported commands on a server-wide or per-channel basis.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Kit in a way that:

  • Violates Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Developer Policies, or applicable law;
  • Harasses, threatens, bullies, demeans, or otherwise maliciously targets another user;
  • Attempts to make Kit provide NSFW, illegal, abusive, or otherwise harmful content;
  • Exploits bugs, vulnerabilities, glitches, or unintended behavior;
  • Uses self-bots, scripts, macros, or other automated methods to spam or abuse Kit;
  • Interferes with Kit’s operation or availability for other users;
  • Attempts to reverse-engineer, decompile, extract, copy, or redistribute Kit’s source code, private systems, or GIF collection without authorization.

We reserve the right to restrict access to Kit where we reasonably believe these Terms or Discord’s policies have been violated.

5. Data and Bot Features

Some Kit features require information to be stored in order to function properly. This may include:

  • Discord user, server, and channel IDs;
  • Interaction counters between users;
  • Love Match results or related feature data;
  • Server configuration and customization settings;
  • Command enable and disable settings; and
  • Information required for supported user-install features.

This information is primarily associated with Discord identifiers and is used to provide Kit’s functionality.

6. Third-Party Services and Content

Kit may retrieve reaction GIFs or other content from third-party services, including services such as Gifukai and nekos.best.

We make reasonable efforts to keep content provided through Kit appropriate and non-NSFW. However, third-party services operate independently from Kit, and we cannot guarantee their continued availability, accuracy, or that their content will never change.

We are not responsible for outages, changes, or other issues caused by third-party services outside of our control.

7. Availability and Changes

Kit is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that Kit will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from bugs or errors.

We reserve the right to add, modify, restrict, suspend, or remove commands, features, or other parts of Kit at any time. We may also suspend or discontinue the bot entirely without prior notice.

Server administrators may stop using Kit at any time by removing it from their server.

We may restrict or terminate access to Kit for individual users or servers where necessary to protect the bot, its users, or its services, or where these Terms, Discord’s policies, or applicable law have been violated.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

KIT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KIT’S DEVELOPERS, OPERATORS, HOSTS, AND CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, KIT.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time.

The date of the most recent revision will be displayed at the top of this page. Material changes may also be announced through the Kit support server or another appropriate communication channel.

Your continued use of Kit after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
